JuliGerm, in partnership with Computer Business Solutions (CBS), supported the first pilot implementation of Lesotho’s crop insurance initiative in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP), the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition – Lesotho, Smallholder Agriculture Development Project (SADP), and LNIG Insurance. The project involved farmer profiling, geospatial mapping, soil health analysis, and the development of monitoring systems to support agricultural insurance operations across multiple districts.
